Cwmbran Stadium

Yesterday Cwmbran Stadium confirmed to us that the main hall at the stadium is currently being re-purposed as a Covid-19 vaccination centre by the Welsh Government and will be out of use for a significant period of time

This will be at least until the end of March 2021 but the likelihood is longer.

The club is currently making enquiries with regards to the possibility of securing other premises but essentially we are now back to square 1.

Formation of Gwent Table Tennis Club

Following a successful meeting last night I am delighted to announce that we have now formed The Gwent Table Tennis Club following the successful merger of Eastern Valley Table Tennis League, Newport & District Table Tennis League, Cwmbran Table Tennis Club and Newport Table Tennis Club.

Our absolute priority is to try and get a practice and training session back at Cwmbran Stadium and our efforts continue with Torfaen Leisure Trust and Table Tennis Wales to facilitate this happening.
